Willie Nelson's 'Gay' Cowboy Song Debuts on Howard Stern's Sirius Show

Brokeback Mountain, a gay love story involving cowboys, is gaining a lot of exposure at both the box office and the academy awards. Now, to coincide with the "gay cowboy" theme of the movie, legendary country singer Willie Nelson revealed his song titled 'Cowboys Are Frequently, Secretly (Fond Of Each Other)' on the Howard Stern show on Tuesday.

The song was originally written in 1981 by Texas-born, NYC resident musician/songwriter Ned Sublette, long before gay cowboys were the current topic of conversation according to a representative of Lost Highway Records.

The song is now available to download from iTunes. Also, a video of the song is in the works and is being made by the Broken Lizard Comedy Troupe, the team that created such films as Super Troopers and Club Dread.
